''Global Spin: The Corporate Assault on Environmentalism'' is a book by Professor Sharon Beder. It was first published in 1997 and there have been subsequent updated editions in 2000 and 2002. The book uses many detailed case studies to build up a "bigger picture" of how large corporations attempt to manipulate environmental issues for their own ends. In the first edition most of the material was from the United States, where the corporate environmental impact has been greatest.〔(Diagnosing the methods of spin doctors )〕〔(Global Spin review )〕 The revised editions include three new chapters two of which contain much more Australian material.〔Sharon Beder, "(Global Spin: The Corporate Assault on Environmentalism )", Green Books, Devon, UK, 2002〕 ==Strategies and tactics== The strategies and tactics used by corporations discussed in the book include: * establishing front groups * Astroturfing or artificially created grassroots support for corporate views * the promotion of the Wise Use Movement * Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation (SLAPPs) * funding of conservative think tanks * promotion of free market environmentalism * corporate classroom materials * public relations * greenwashing * media * advertising * corporate sponsored confusion〔Sharon Beder, "(Global Spin )"〕 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Global Spin」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
